I did this one back in summer 2002, shortly after finishing up my "Pokémon Live!" comic adaptation and probably before I got cable. It's based on a "Pokémon" fanfic aptly titled A Marriage Made in Heaven, which, unfortunately, can no longer be found on FanFiction.net, because the author lost interest in "Pokémon" sometime after writing it. But I was able to print it out for future reading before she could remove it along with all her other "Pokémon" stories. The story is rather simple. It's about Ash and Misty's wedding. But I, along with most likely many more Ash/Misty supporters, more than likely loved this story. And I, for one, felt the need to do an illustration based off of it.
Obviously, Pikachu's a ring-bearer. And that is Tracey's Marril. For those who haven't bothered figuring out the groomsmen and bridesmaid, they are (from left to right) Brock, Tracey, Gary, Ritchie, James (you can't quite see him, but he's there), Jessie, Duplica, and Misty's sisers. Actually, Duplica is supposed to be Marina from the episode "Bye-Bye Psyduck". Problem is, I had only seen that episode once (to be more exact, the first time it aired on Kids WB!), and I thought the stories (this was a sequel to an earlier fanfic) was the heroine character of Pokémon Crystal. I feel like such a dummy. So now, I pretend that bridesmaid opposite of Ritchie is Duplica. I kinda prefer the Ritchie/Duplica pairing myself anyway. Enjoy!

Oak: Then by the power vested in my by the Kanto region I now pronounce you husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride.
