Now as you may know, most of the Disney couples I support are human pairings from the TV shows (i.e. Crandall/Brenda, Kim/Ron, Fillmore/Ingrid), as pairings in Disney's TV shows are more fun to support than those in the movies. That's especially true with human pairings, because in the animal dating game, the male animal is most likely going to get together with the female of the same species. But there have been some Disney animated properties that make an exception to that rule. Among them are the Silly Symphony "Elmer Elephant", the live-action/animated movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", and of course, the animated TV series "Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers".
To me, Gadget Hackwrench, not "Beauty and the Beast"'s Belle, was and always will be the first of the dynamic Disney heroines, and the definite sexiest female mouse Disney's ever put out. As I stated in my review for "To the Rescue", Chip 'n Dale seem to agree with me, as they are both very attracted to Gadget and are often vying for her attention. The way things turned out, most (but not all) of the show's fans, including me, seem to agree that Chip and Gadget make a believable couple (likewise with Dale and Foxglove the Bat, who somehow is one of the most popular characters in "Rescue Rangers" fandom, despite having having only appeared in half of one episode). It's for this reason I support this badge.
So while Chip/Gadget could probably be my favorite Disney animal pairing, they're not quite as high up on my favorite couples in general list as Crandall/Brenda or Kim/Ron, but still good enough to be in my top ten favorite Disney couples. But I happened to be on a C/G high right after school let out and felt the unsatiable need to draw them getting married. So I did. And I hope I've pleased any other C/G fans on this website.
