Fireside Brides - Katie

For the next picture in the set of pictures that requested me to draw of the Fireside Girls in wedding dresses, we have Katie. And since I recently decided to go with pairing her with Irving, he is more than likely her groom. I'd started work on this one immediately after I'd finished inking Milly's picture, and then I got to work coloring this shortly after posting Milly's pic and seeing "Toy Story 3" yesterday. When I sketched this up, I wound up giving her the same dress and veil-tiara as Gretchen, possibly since she and Gretch are the only members of Troop 46231 (besides Isabella) who made it into the "Phineas and Ferb" Nintendo DS game. But as you can see, I made sure to give her appearance some subtle differences from Gretchen's. Besides the obvious variance of her gown's trim being green (which matches her eyes nicely), the jewel on her tiara is a golden yellow (whereas Gretchen's was a ruby red). Also, like Milly, she is not wearing elbow-length gloves, and like Holly, she holds a bouquet of blue roses. Also like Holly and Milly, her lipstick is pink, as opposed to Gretchen's (and Isabella's) red lipstick. And like all her fellow Fireside Brides with their respective paramours, she is looking really happy with the fact that she is getting married to Irving.
