If you're watching me, then you may have seen the sketch I recently posted of Jenny Wakeman as her human counterpart, designed by my web-girlfriend . If not, go see it, so you can find out the backstory Katie has provided for this design. Since Katie requested that I draw the human-transferred Jenny having kissed Brad, I decided I should first sketch up Jenny by herself. I liked the sketch so much, I decided to color it. And here it is!
I won't go over the fact that I wasted so much paper in the process of transferring this from sketch to colored drawing. One thing I should note, though, is that while I redrew this, I remembered that since Jenny's a cartoon character, she only needed four fingers, so I expanded the size of her fingers a bit, removing her middle one. Since this body of Jenny's has been in a stasis tube for eight years (it is, after all, the body of Mrs. Wakeman's braindead daughter), it was required that her skin be a comparatively pale tone. Fortunately, as you can see from the picture, I managed to find a peach colored pencil that made a lighter shade than the one I usually use (currently). And yes, I know, she looks rather short for a sixteen-year-old. But keep in mind that Brad, whom she is about as tall as, is not in the picture, so she's not exactly drawn to scale here. Hopefully, when I draw her with Brad later on, I'll get the perspective thing right. Speaking of Brad, I should also note that as if it wasn't enough that I drew Jenny saying "I love you" in sign language, now she has a floating heart stemming from her.
