I'm Gonna Poke Your Chest by nintendomaximus I'm Gonna Poke Your Chest by nintendomaximus
As you may or may not know by now, I've by now acquired all five volumes of the "Garfield and Friends" DVD sets, so I now have every episode of the series. And I think among my favorites on the fifth volume include the seventh season "U.S. Acres" episodes featuring Orson's pushy cousin Aloysius. (If you don't believe me, I e-mailed Mark Evanier asking about it, and he told me that yes, they are indeed cousins.) Aloysius kinda reminds me of myself for some reason. Maybe it's the bean-counting. Anyway, I thought maybe I should feature him in this, the first "U.S. Acres" fanart I've ever drawn. It pretty much sums up the relationship he and Orson seem to have.
The characters are Jim Davis, PAWS Inc. (I guess), and Film Roman.

I love Aloysius-chan! He's so moe, he's a great singer, and he's funny! Did you know he was voiced by Kevin Meaney? I'm getting Volume 5 this Christmas, because I think Aloysius' episodes are the best, and I've watched Amazon's prints of the episodes.

ORSON: "Actually, you're poking my stomach."
ALOYSIUS: "Correcting me . . . . . that's not right!"

Sorry, I couldn't resist. I've only recently bought volume 5 of "Garfield & Friends," so I haven't seen Aloysius until a couple of days ago. He's one of those "love to hate" characters, but I kind of liked his "that's not right!" moments.

I still remember U.S. Acres when it was an extremely short-lived comic strip back in 1986.

There are a few websites that still have the old comics.

I wish I could at least see one.

No no, "Garfield and Friends" is on DVD. The only DVDs featuring anything "Teamo"-related are DVDs that contain trailers for it.

Which DVD's are they?

Well, they're obviously on DVDs that came out during 2002, when "Teamo" premiered. I myself have seen "Teamo" trailers on the DVDs of "Oliver and Company" and "Mickey's House of Villains".
On the subject of "Teamo", I'm considering doing a crossover fanfic in which they visit "U.S. Acres". Incidentally, you can check out the original "U.S. Acres" comic strip here.

Wow! I didn't know that Jim Davis made another comic strip besides Garfield! Can you tell me where I can find the books that have the U.S. Acres comic strips? Because I like Garfield and I also want to see what U.S. Acres is like.

Well, you can buy used copies of the U.S. Acres strip collections on Amazon.com, but you can also check out many strips on this page. [link] Incidentally, there's a bunch of differences between the strip and the animated series it spawned; Orson's rotten brothers weren't originally named, Bo's an idiot, Sheldon has a philosophical side, and there's a cat and a dog who never appeared in the animated version (most likely because the show already had Garfield and Odie).

Delete my last note please

I'm glad Garfield and Friends is on DVD, but they don't sell it at Walmart anymore, and I cannot get them on the Net, because it requires a credit card. By the way, have U seen my newest deviation?

XD I'ld like to see more of the later episodes. I dont think the series went through the whole run in the end here in the UK. My brother has the 4th set of DVD's plus a DVD released over which basiclly is (I assume) the first disk from the 1st set repackaged :\, 20th Centry Fox are not good to us here

Well, I got the title from a line in a "Ninja Turtles" video file sketch I saw on YouTube where some guys took a clip from an episode and dubbed their own voices over it. (At one point, Raphael pokes a robber's chest and his voice dub says, "I'm goin' to poke your chest!" )
