Jenny 'n Brad Get Romantic

This is the other one of two fanarts based off of 's "My Life as a Teenage Robot" fanfic, Phoenix Fire. For this one, Katie wanted me to draw "Brad blushing after human Jenny kisses him". Since I'm a big Jenny/Brad fan like her, I was more than willing to do this one.
Of course, Katie had thought up a great design for the humanified Jenny, and since I wanted a good grip on what she would look like she would look like, I drew up the human-turned Jenny by herself. Incidentally, before I really got started on this picture, I asked Katie if I could draw the scene having occurred after the kiss. For one thing, I wanted to have Jenny's light blue eyes be seen (had I have drawn her actually kissing Brad, I'd have to draw her with her eyes shut), as well as have there be a lipstick stain on Brad's cheek. Katie okayed the idea, because she believes "it would be cuter if the lipstick print was there, anyway." I totally agree, Katie.
Drawing this was a nightmare, but I pulled through, and it was worth all the trouble, 'cause it's so darn cute. I should note that I originally intended to have Jenny & Brad snuggling while sitting on a hilltop (they would be on a date), but I don't do pictures with backgrounds often, so I decided to just have them snuggle. Yes, I know that Jenny's arm prevents us from seeing her navel ring, but hey, now I know it's a good thing I drew her alone first. And check out Brad's expression (I previously used it in one of my Crandall/Brenda fanarts). And oh yeah, it's always good to have a blush effect. What can I say? This fanart is so adorable. And in case you're wondering, I'm going to be using this human Jenny in plenty more pics.
