Loud Kiddington is Back

I hadn't planned on doing much drawing this weekend, but there was something that caught my eye on Friday. It's Time-Warner's new Internet broadband channel, In2TV, and it's featuring classic Warner Bros.-owned television shows. Among them are "The New Adventures of Batman", "Beetlejuice", "Pinky and the Brain", "Freakazoid!", and yes, "Histeria!" That's right; five years after its departure from Kids WB!, Warner Bros. has brought "Histeria!" back into our lives. And for me, watching the show was a new experience, since I never really bothered watching it during 1999. And since "Histeria!" has never shown up in reruns on Cartoon Network even with the addition of the Tickle-U block (which doesn't make sense, since "Histeria!" is more entertaining than most of the crap on that block), it's pretty much a big deal that the show has returned. So that's why I drew Loud Kiddington making the announcement. And since "Pinky and the Brain" will be coming out on DVD alongside its parent cartoon, "Animaniacs", later this year, does this mean we'll be seeing DVD sets for the other cartoons that In2TV is showing? We can only hope.
