Luigi Dug Out His Old Clothes

To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, as well as the release of the Flash cartoon "Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom - Part 4", I've drawn up a quickie of Luigi, 'cause he sure dresses in green much more than I do. Especially, considering that he used to have green overalls. At least, in the cartoons and comics, anyway. The only games where I've seen him with this color scheme are remakes of the original Super Mario Bros., where he originally had white pants and a green shirt. And sure, the artwork for the US version of Super Mario Bros. 2 gave him this color scheme, but the actual game don't count since Nintendo had already switched to the current color scheme with that game. Yet, does anyone else ever wonder if Luigi still has his old clothes, due to the idea never being contradicted in later games? (Same goes for Mario.) Anyway, Happy St. Patrick's Day, everybody!
