Description

I've posted a lot of romance-themed pictures recently, most of which I hadn't exactly planned on, but I had always intended on doing this one in time for Valentine's Day. It depicts my first-favorite couple on "¡Mucha Lucha!" (and my favorite Warner Bros. Animation couple, period), Rikochet & Buena Girl, as they would look on their wedding day. :blushes: In case you're wondering, this is pretty much a prequel to my previous Rik/BG picture, and I think it's one of my best works yet. The way the couple is dressed was mainly influenced by :iconneoslashott: (apologies to him), but with a few minor details. For one thing, our favorite Luchador couple still wear their masks. The tuxedo that Rikochet is dressed in, which is the white-jacket-and-black-pants combination, fits him, and it marks the first time I've ever used this kind of tux on one of my grooms. (As you may recall, most grooms I draw have jackets and pants of the same color, whether it be black, white, grey, or light blue; plus, you'll also note that most of them had similarly-colored top hats.) Oh, and Buena Girl sure looks beautiful! By the way, check out the ribbon-sash around her gown. I figured it should resemble the detail on her mask. The same goes for the gem on her tiara. And though it's hard to see, there's a bit of light grey etched on her veil, to create the illustion of satin. And a little lipstick always helps. :aww: Rikochet & Buena Girl look very blissful, and I'm happy for them and this picture. Oh, and yes, I picture Flea as the best man here.
"¡Mucha Lucha!", Rikochet & Buena Girl, and all related names are © Eddie Mort & Lili Chin, and Warner Bros.

Very cute pic!

Now, the correction; the word for a Mexican (or Spanish-talking) wrestler is Luchador, if it's singular; the plural is 'Luchadores'. In Spanish, when a noun ends in 'n' or 'r', the plural form of that noun has the 'es' ending.
