Now that I've finished my third-quarter exams, here's a photo I took of my VHS tapes featuring material based off of video games, or promotional tapes for the games, stacked in the order the featured material originally came out. Well, with the exception of the plastic cased VHSs in front of the tower. Clockwise from the top, here's a list of them all if you have trouble identifying them:
The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!: "Princess, I Shrunk the Mario Bros." / "Rolling Down the River" / "Brooklyn Bound" (with live-action segment "Rowdy Roddy's Rotten Pipes")
The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3: "Misadventures in Babysitting" / "Super Koopa"

Now, I should note that this isn't actually all the video game-based VHSs that I have. I have a couple of SMB Super Show tapes that, due to my own carelessness, have lost their original boxes, as I was very young when I got them and didn't really care much about the boxes they came in when I was of that age. The only other SMB Super Show VHS tape I have that still has a box is the video release of "Butch Mario and the Luigi Kid", which, also due to my carelessness, has had its box drawn on and even cut up in some places. Also not pictured is the Donkey Kong Country Promo Video, which features a teaser for the Super NES release of Killer Instinct at the very end. Just like the other mentioned tapes, it is also missing its box.
You're probably wondering why I didn't include any DVDs in the tower. Well, for one thing, I already showed off all my Nintendo-based DVDs; the only non-Nintendo video game-based DVDs I have are the Sonic SatAM DVD and the GamePro Action 2003 DVD. Plus, they wouldn't be able to support all the boxed VHSs, and there was no room underneath the cased VHSs. And in case you're wondering why I still have the VHS of "Pokémon: The First Movie" even after having the DVD (I sold my VHSs of the Disney movies I now have DVDs of), it's because the VHS has the old "Kids WB! Yourself" bumper from the pre-"Yu-Gi-Oh!" days of Kids WB! (You know, back when it actually showed cartoons made by Warner Bros.?) But I have no idea why I haven't yet gotten rid of the "Sonic Racer" VHS after having got the aforementioned SatAM DVD, which includes the episodes on that tape.
Everything on those videos is © the companies that made the franchises, the companies that produced the shows (even if DiC doesn't give credit to Shigeru Miyamoto or Yuji Naka for their characters), and the companies that distributed the tapes.
