Darkwing Duck's 25th Anniversary

He is the terror that flaps in the night, he is the remaining volumed DVD set we still cannot get (well, one of them, anyway), he is Darkwing Duck! And today marks the 25th anniversary of the day his show first aired as a sneak preview on the Disney Channel way back in 1991. (Though, technically, you could say his actual debut was his and Gosalyn's "early bird" cameo in the original Disney Afternoon opening sequence the previous year.) I wanted to do a special fanart for the occasion, as well as in celebration of his re-return to the comic book format, which is now less than a month away (and you can bet I'll be picking up every issue as they come out). So here is that fanart. Besides the obvious fact that this marks the first time I've ever drawn Gosalyn, note also that I chose to draw Darkwing in his slightly-redesigned outfit that he'll be wearing in the new comic (first seen at the end of the Darkwing Duck: The Definitely Dangerous Edition omnibus).
